MCP tools are only supported by Composer in Agent mode, but each time I send a message in Chat all MCP related node/uvx windows cascade in front.
This would be undesirable even with Agent, but it definitely shouldn’t happen using features lacking MCP support.
No other MCP client I’ve used opens additional windows for MCP servers, so I’m not sure if this is expected behaviour in the first place.

Thanks for reporting this - we’re aware of the blank window issue with MCP on Windows, and it’s being worked on for the next release. You’re right that this behavior isn’t intended, especially outside of Agent mode!

It shouldn’t be hard to ask Claude, or old fashioned Google“how to run node and uvx as a background service.”
Every other client has figured it out.
