Chat tabs not working

hi,
whenever I press “new tab”, or command+t, the current composer chat gets replaced.
Expectation: a new tab is shown on the top of the composer chat.
Actual: chat gets replaced with a new chat.

It works when i turn the chat into an editor, but that results in all kinds of annoying ux issues for me.
I’ve already reviewed all settings and keyboard shortcuts.
version is:
Version: 0.50.7
VSCode Version: 1.96.2

I know the feature was added a couple of releases ago and I can see it working for other people.

Is this config related?
Cheers

Hi, there is no config limiting this from what I can see. Unless you changed the original keyboard shortcuts for CMD T

Does pressing ALT + click on [New tab] icon create new tab?

Unfortunately it is all the same with all the modifier keys

Hey, it seems your activity bar is hidden, based on the screenshots. To see the chat tabs, you’ll need to make it visible again.
