Describe the request
I’m writing about the Cursor AI chat experience.
What I remember:
At one point, even when doing high-standard scientific work, the chat felt fun, fluid, and creative to use. It supported how I think and work.
What it feels like now:
The chat often feels deadpan, rigid, and uninspiring. It doesn’t adapt to my way of working and can feel one-size-fits-all.
What I’m asking for:
Bring back a more fluid, creative chat flow
So it doesn’t feel flat or overly formal.
So it can still be precise and scientific when needed, but not at the cost of feeling engaging and responsive.
Let the chat adapt to how I work
Options or modes so I can choose how responses are structured (e.g. more bullets, more headings, more “boxes” or visual structure).
So the UI and tone can match different tasks: deep analysis vs quick iteration vs creative exploration.
Make it more neurodivergent- and accessibility-friendly
I use and need: clear structure, bullet points, visual hierarchy, scannable layout, consistent formatting.
Right now the chat often feels too rigid (e.g. long blocks of text, few clear landmarks) and not very “autistic-friendly” — meaning it doesn’t support people who work best with clear structure, predictability, and visual organisation.
I’d like options for: more structured responses, clearer sections, optional borders/emphasis, and the ability to set preferences so the chat “updates itself” to work in my way.
In short:
I’d like the chat to feel fun and fluid again, to support creative and scientific work, and to be configurable so it can work in my way — including better structure and clarity for neurodivergent users, instead of feeling rigid and one-style-fits-all.
Thank you for considering this.
