Anthropic just released an update for Claude Sonnet. The price stayed the same and they claim that it is their most intelligent model yet:

When using api key, why does it have to be added? Why can’t we use whatever models are available at the time?

It’s not necessary to wait for the new version, simply add claude-3-5-sonnet-20240620 to the model.

It appears that when executing code generation with Cmd+K, the process is not functioning correctly. It seems that for claude-3-5-sonnet-20240620 to work properly in Cursor, fine-tuning might be necessary.
For instance, when requesting code refactoring, this kind of output is generated.

What is the limit on sonnet 3.5? Is it unlimited like gpt4 since it’s cheaper or?

I find 500 in total per month too low. Would it be possible that 1 Opus 3 request is equivalent to 5 Sonnet 3.5 requests per day? This would come down to 50 requests/day.

While it works, the integration of “apply” is not as desired - it does not jump to a file (but asks for continue if file was switched), first output box just repeats original, etc. - breaks the workflow unfortunately.

I couldn’t get Claude 3.5 to appear in Cursor’s list of models, despite waiting 2+ weeks, restarting many times, and using “attempt update” many times.
It turns out that disabling the OpenAI API key makes the Claude 3.5 visible in the model list for some reason. (And enabling the Open API key again, makes Claude 3.5 disappear in the model list again.)

I am running into this issue as well. I have to disable OpenAI keys to get Sonnet
