Claude 4 requests fail with type: not found error

Same result for both 4 Sonnet and 4 Opus, 3.7 Sonnet works as expected, unsurprisingly. Presumably this is on Anthropic but logging anyway because it’s weird to expose these models in the Cursor UI if the underlying Claude API doesn’t stably support these models yet.

Probably you want claude-sonnet-4-20250514 and claude-opus-4-20250514, per Models overview - Anthropic

or the aliases, claude-opus-4-0, claude-sonnet-4-0

Cursor team is working on it.

Claude 4 Sonnet Thinking is fixed and working already

Both Sonnet and Opus are actually working for me now.

Seems to possibly be not 100% fixed, assuming related.

claude-4-opus MAX not working for me but claude-4-sonnet MAX working fine. Claude-4-opus MAX worked ONCE and then all subsequent attempts fail.

Ok, it works if I just use a new chat. So likely unrelated. Still quite an annoying silent failure.

If you see that issue again, please file a full separate bug report. It would be good to see what causes it and if something can be fixed for it.
