We cannot connect to the supplier, please switch to another model or wait, when using Claude 4

Now, whenever I use the Claude 4-sonnet think large model, I keep encountering a connection issue with the supplier. Please switch to another model, as this error has occurred many times now. Basically, every time I use this model, I get this error. What could be the reason for this?

Now, whenever I use the Claude 4 sonnet think mode, this issue keeps appearing. I’m wondering if it’s because Claude 4 is currently having a discount promotion in the cursor, and the official doesn’t want us to use this large model with the discount, which is why this issue keeps occurring. For me, this large model is now completely unusable. Even when it initially responds, it doesn’t take long before this issue pops up, forcing me to restart the cursor. This keeps happening over and over again, consuming all my quick requests. :unamused_face:

Hi, its most likely because Anthropic just released the model a few days ago and everyone is rushing to try it and use it, so it’s overloaded. As Cursor can not influence that they have to rely on Anthropic providing enough servers for all users. In case its a technical issue the Cursor team will likely know it already. The message is shown to you as user to explain why it isnt working for now.

Hopefully this gets resolved by Anthropic with more capacity.
