Claude Sonnet 3.7 with own Anthropic API key

I’m getting the high demand error all the time when I’m trying to use Claude Sonnet 3.7

But I do have my own Anthropic API key enabled, wouldn’t this make it working?

I’m having the same issue. Looks like Cursor is doing some weird substring matching to determine if I’m using claude 3.7 models and deny those requests, when in fact I’m trying to access my self-deployed OpenAI-compatible endpoints (request did not reach my server at all.)

Cursor should never reject bring-your-own-key requests, as my server’s claude 3.7 inference is working fine.

i was having a similar issue but changing my API key for a new one in cursor solved it and i can now access claude-3-7-sonnet-20250219
