Describe the Bug

In the past couple of days my requests in Agent mode will just hang after a few tool calls and I have to tell it to continue. This happens most often with Claude Sonnet 4

Steps to Reproduce

Start a complex request with Claude Sonnet 4

Expected Behavior

The agent should either complete the task or reach the 25 tool call limit

MacOS

Thank you for your bug report, could you please add the Request ID and what means ‘hangs’? (Does it return finished response without completing the task or hangs during a tool call,…)

Hey, could you clarify if the hangs occur during response generation in the chat, in the terminal, or when calling MCP tools? Could you also check the DevTools panel for any errors?

It just stays on “Generating…” forever until it times out. Next time it times out I will give you a request ID. Thanks for the replies!
