I think in 2.1 it changed that clicking the files that changed in the chat opens file in review window, but I don’t want that. I just want a way to change it back so that the actual file opens instead of the review window which doesn’t show nearly as much info.
Here’s pic. I would want the file itself to open when clicking the line, like it did before.
+1, this change is extremely annoying. I’ve been waiting patiently for the past 1+ week hoping it would just “go away” but seems it’s here to stay. Is there a way to disable this or change the default back to “view file” instead of the Review window?
+1000 . I could understand if you made it a setting because maybe some people do want it to go to the review. But this is a particular frustration because:
I really need to review a change in the context of the whole file so in most cases, the review display has almost no value for me.
Possibly most important: reviews can become very large and so performance is a big problem. I’ve had cases where it took a while for review to display.
Separate note: The one value the review feature could have (probably should make this a feature request) is if it could represent a specific diff for a specific response in a chat so I could see what was changed at that point in time–and easily toggle its application (because so often I click undo and then realize I want it back but… can’t).
