I have a question. Currently, I am using the free plan and accessing the model through a custom API. However, the editor always pops up with a “Your Free Trial Has Ended” message, then it automatically closes my custom model, and I have to go to the settings to reopen it. How can I prevent this prompt from appearing?

Same problem. How to close the ads, I just want to test the Cursor but it keeps showing up every few minutes! Which is disturbing…

Hey, sorry about this. This is meant to only be shown to you once and isn’t meant to be a really annoying ad to get you to purchase anything from us!
I’ll report this to be investigated, but for now, do you still get the same issue if you have closed and reopened Cursor? And what about after a reboot?
As a last resort, could you try uninstalling and reinstalling Cursor, and then logging back in with your account? You may get the prompt again once, but hopefully, you shouldn’t edit it again after that.
