No its not
Same issue.
I asked cursor for a refund. I think everyone should. the app is useless without indexing. it get’s every answer wrong. can’t build anything.
Check it now.
Experiencing this issue again.
Been having this issue all week now, the cursor chat dont work either and dosent seem to send any network activity.
Any new word on this…? I’m paying for a pro subscription, which I cannot properly use without codebase indexing…
Hey, the main cause for codebase indexing to fail is due to your network connection not supporting HTTP/2, but we have a workaround which may help once v0.46 is available to you:
In my case, the issue caused by somehow there is a “file” named “codebase” been added into the chat, after remove it from the chat, working again.
Working for me again in 0.46
Same.
Same to me.
It’s about 1 week I could not use Cursor because the problem: Codebase Indexing - Handshake Failed.
I tried in both office and home, windows and mac, the nightmare always appeared as “Handshake Failed”!

you got any solution?
Same
same problem
Hey, unfortunately, we are currently facing some issues with codebase indexing, which may cause the Handshake Failed
error, and some degraded performance in the features that rely on it.
We hope to have those solved soon, but you can track the status of this on status.cursor.com
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause!
