Composer acts as a editor pane instead of an ai pane

Often when i’m using composer behaves as a file (editor pane).

Meaning if I hit cmd + p it will select new files in the pane that composer is in.

I’d like it to stay in the AI pane like chat so it isn’t hidden whenever I select a new file. As of right now I’m just keeping it in another window.

Thoughts?

Hey, I’m not quite sure what you mean, but what happens if you press Cmd + D? This shortcut switches Composer modes, if I understood you correctly. Would this help you?
