Recently started having this happen with no configuration change.
newly opened files open in the composer pane - getting pretty annoying. Is there a setting to disable this? Strongly preferred just chat and composer in the right pane with no files
Hey, sorry to hear you are having some issues, can you a screenshot of this?
Hey, can you try closing the Chat tab by clicking on it, then clicking the x next to the header “Chat”, then using the icons at the top right to re-open it?
My guess is you have the chat open as an editor, not within its normal pane, so files are also able to open in the same row!

Actually, it didnt. Cmd L will still sometimes open a chat window in the same editor
Hey, does this look the same as your previous screenshot when this happens?
Closing the Chat, and reopening as I’ve described should lock it back into it’s pane, and not as an editor like your code files.
