Composer + Apply Changes not working

Cursor was working fine but yesterday, Composer stopped applying changes and would just show “Completed.” I’ve tried resetting Composer and it occasionally works, but then stops again.

I’m a Pro user and still have fast requests remaining for the month.

hi, we made some changes to the way composer works in the newest update so that composer will no longer auto-apply files not in your context, however, you can still apply them by hovering over the codeblock, pressing on the apply button on the top right and selecting which file you want it applied to. we will be coming out with a change so that users can toggle this behavior so in the future users can opt to auto-apply all changes.

i click apply and it just goes to the end of my 1900 lines of code in an instant and ask me to reject or apply but it does nothing, lateley i just want to look for an alternative, it sucks

hi, we will be reverting this behavior by default and allowing users to toggle this option, this change will be coming out soon, will post again once it’s out

update: we have reverted this change by default and added a toggle on settings if you want this off (i.e you dont want composer to update files not in context). please update to 0.42.3 to see the changes

Where can I toggle this? I’ve updated to 0.42.3 and don’t see the toggle.

it should be back on by default, but to turn it off you can go to settings, on the features tab and find it under composer
