Composer freezes with the cursor

A few days ago, composer started to freeze when I add code to composer and write some message for AI (cloude or other), cursor workin 2-3 sec and it freezes and then the program crashes and gives an error

The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: ‘crashed’, code: ‘5’)

I reinstalled the program, but it didn’t help, while the chat section is working, it freezes only in composer.

Hey, what version of Cursor do you have? Also, let me know what operating system you’re using. Did you uninstall Cursor following this guide?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I managed to solve the problem by creating a new chat and deleting all the files from the context. It seems that this happened due to a problem with the extension opening hanging (GitHub)

it seems that sometimes hung files in the context interfere with proper operation, it would be nice to be able to delete them from the context.
