It feels like every time Cursor updates, a new issue appears that I’m not happy with.
Most users are probably aware that, at some point, detailed information about the charges for usage stopped being displayed. At first, it was hidden inside the Cursor app. Now, it’s no longer visible even on the web dashboard under usage. Recently, I also noticed that the CSV usage export file no longer contains any information about the cost.
In addition, when generating code with the agent, there used to be an option to selectively keep or reject specific changes. Now, without that option, all modifications are saved automatically.
Why are updates being released without proper review of these kinds of changes?
Cursor is a great product and a piece of software that has genuinely changed my life for the better. I’m grateful for it. But it feels like it’s gradually moving in the wrong direction, and that makes me start looking for alternatives. I hope it doesn’t continue this way.
