Connecting local Cursor development sessions to Cursor iOS app

Hi,

I’d like to ask about the Cursor iOS app and how it connects to development sessions.

Is it possible to continue or “connect” an active local development session from my computer to the Cursor iOS app, so I can keep working from mobile?

Or does the iOS app only connect to cloud agents/sessions created from the web or Cursor’s cloud environment, rather than local projects running on my computer?

I just want to clarify what workflows are currently supported and whether there’s any way to bridge my local Cursor desktop session with the mobile app.

It sounds like Remote Control is likely what you’re after. There are a few limitations to be aware of—for instance, if a chat wasn’t started as a remote-controlled session, you’ll need to explicitly hand it off before it can be controlled remotely. That said, we’re actively working to improve the experience!
