I’m getting the same popup when asking composer to generate some code for me. I am on a corporate network that uses opendns which blocks a lot of things, but composer was working last time I used it here ( 3 weeks ago).

I’ll try the same at home with the latest version in the morning and see if it has the same issue.

In my case, I was asking Claude to generate code to use curl to download a node zip file. When I paste the copied url into the prompt (also happens in chat), it appends an ‘@’ symbol to the beginning of the url. This is causing the issue when generating is in the ‘reading links…’ step.

I have to paste the url into a text file, add wrapping quotes to it and then paste it to keep cursor from appending the ‘@’ and this fixes the issue. It’s the same in both composer and chat.

This was done so Cursor can scrape the page, but I see your workaround worked. We might make it a toggleable feature in the future.
