The UI could use some improvement to better differentiate when using agent or normal composer. I prefer to use Agent almost all the time, but sometimes accidentally toggle somehow and end up realizing the chat got dumb and will not do anything - realizing its in normal mode. Maybe a separate tab for agent mode - or a configuration to make one or the other the default all the time. Still, it would be nice to better indicate what mode is active (aside from the text in the chat window mentioning talk to the agent.
Hey, there’s a stickiness feature in Composer. Is it not working for you? Stickiness means it remembers the last mode used in Composer and selects that mode for new sessions. We’re always improving the UX, so we might enhance it in the future.
Thank you - No it is not sticking for me - quite frequently it starts in Normal mode when opening a new composer, but that would be great if it did stick! One other suggestion - some color indication similar to what Cline has, so when in Agent mode, the box could be outlined or shaded differently / matching the color of the mode button it’s in.
I realize that this happens (sometimes) when I clear some or all the composer window histories - if I avoid doing this I will not end up in normal mode, or if I do, just ensure remembering to set agent mode after a round of cleaning up composer windows.
