Copying texts from Cloud Agent files is broken

Describe the Bug

When using Cloud Agents, copying text from files open in the Cloud Agent file browser does not work properly. See attached screenshot, full strings of text will show highlighted, but a copy attempt only grabs smaller chunks of the string.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a file (in this case a JSON file) in the Cloud Agent file browser window, attempt to copy text out of it.

Expected Behavior

Copying the highlighted string should copy the entire string, not a substring chunk. Per the screenshot, copying that string will only clip “IPC3615LB” to my clipboard.

I can’t reproduce this. Am I doing something differently than you?

Would be helpful to know what browser you’re using, and also where you’re pasting to!

I am experiencing this in the Perplexity Comet Browser, Safari on Mac, and Google Chrome. Pasting into anywhere (another website tab, Notes app, e-mail) makes no difference. It is an issue at copy time, selecting only the single word/token and not the entire highlighted string. Seems to copy only whatever I right click on specifically, Cmd+C/Ctrl+C catches nothing.

Ah, now I can reproduce it after right clicking to copy. Yikes!

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. We deployed a fix yesterday and, at least on my side, it’s working much better. Can you try again?

Yes it is fixed for both hotkey copy and right-click copy. Thank you!
