Could not remove image if i try to edit my previous prompt in the chat text can be edited but images could not be removed , new one can be added

Steps to Reproduce

Do a chat
The edit one of you preivously message like try to revert and then try to remove the image added in that msg it dont get removed

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Describe the Bug

Cannot delete attached images in chat. The X button appears on hover but clicking it does nothing, the image remains attached.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a chat (Agent or Ask mode)
  2. Attach an image (e.g., paste a screenshot)
  3. Send the message
  4. Hover over the attached image in the sent message
  5. Click the X button that appears
  6. Nothing happens – image stays attached

Expected Behavior

Clicking the X button should remove the attached image from the message.

Not model-specific. Issue occurs regardless of model selection.

Additional Information

This issue also occurs on macOS (MacBook Pro), so it’s not Windows-specific.

The bug started appearing after a recent update. Previously, deleting attached images worked as expected.

This impacts my workflow significantly: I often edit earlier messages in a conversation to branch off in a different direction, and being unable to remove images from those messages breaks this pattern.

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
