Critical Issues with Cursor AI: Missing 'Add to Composer' Option, Frequent Freezes, and Unresponsiveness

Description of Issues:

  1. Missing ‘Add to Composer’ Option
One of the primary reasons I use Cursor AI is the ‘Add to Composer’ feature, which streamlines adding files directly into the composer. Unfortunately, this functionality is no longer available. This has disrupted my workflow significantly and made it cumbersome to manage files within the app.
  2. Frequent Freezes
Cursor AI frequently freezes, often during critical tasks, rendering it unusable for extended periods. This behavior not only interrupts productivity but also creates frustration when working on time-sensitive projects.
  3. Unresponsiveness
In addition to freezing, Cursor AI often becomes completely unresponsive indefinitely, requiring me to restart the application manually. This issue compounds my frustrations and makes the tool unreliable.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Cursor AI.
  2. Attempt to add a file to the composer (observe the missing ‘Add to Composer’ option).
  3. Use the application for a typical session (observe frequent freezes and unresponsiveness).

Expected Behavior:

  • The ‘Add to Composer’ feature should be available and functional.
  • The application should operate smoothly without freezing or becoming unresponsive.

I have the same furstration regarding Add to composer.
I understand we don’t need to if composer runs the terminal, but that is not always idea. I prefer running dev server in another terminal, then give composer debug messages from there.
