Ctrl+K command not working all the time

Sometimes the Ctrl+K shortcut to bring up ‘generate command’ bugs out. I need to open a new terminal to make it work again.

Steps to Reproduce

Press Ctrl+K on a terminal

Expected Behavior

the generate command box appears

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, it looks like this is a known issue where Cmd + K doesn’t work in the terminal opened as an editor. If you open the terminal via the command palette with “Create New Terminal in Editor Area,” it won’t work (the team is already working on a fix). However, if you drag the terminal into the editor area, it should work.
