Is there any outage on cursor api2 endpoint?
I am facing couple of issues since last 2 hours,

models ain’t replying to simple inputs, they are stucked in reconnecting ( network is perfectly fine )

i tried disabling HTTP/2 as well, but no luck.
I uninstalled and thought maybe let me try reinstalling it, but now it reaches the api2.cursor.com and just keeps loading.

Hey, thanks for the report. I see you already disabled HTTP/2, so let’s dig a bit deeper.

I’ll need a few things for debugging:

  • Go to Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics and send a screenshot of the results.
  • What OS are you on, and what Cursor version? (Help > About)
  • Are you using a VPN or a company proxy?
  • Do you have any MCP servers set up? If yes, try disabling them (Cursor Settings > Tools & MCP) and restart.

Also, is the issue still happening right now, or did it go away? We got a few similar reports around the same time, so I want to confirm whether this was a temporary server-side issue.

If it’s still not working, please share 2 to 3 Request IDs from failed requests (click the chat context menu in the top right > Copy Request ID).
