Is there some config or extension that’s making cursor show this message every time I open it? it looks like this mac pop up

I believe this is a known VSCode issue in Sonoma. We likely inherited it from a recent upstream merge.

I’m also wondering this - the popup is super annoying.
I’m getting this issue in March of 2025. I am still using Sonoma. The issue doesn’t occur in VS Code.
The only way to stop it is to give Cursor full disk access. That doesn’t sound safe…

It is super annoyed! Today is 2025-05-21, my mac version is 15.5, this alert box still appear again and again. When I click Allow, it will appear again, repeat for 7 times.
