Describe the Bug
I am using Cursor on Windows. Previously, I was logging into Cursor by just clicking the icon (as a standard user). Today, I accidentally right-clicked and opened Cursor as an administrator. I saw a prompt similar to the ‘Welcome’ screen, asking to choose a style, etc. I clicked ‘Continue,’ but then I realized my mistake, so I quit.
I then re-opened Cursor as a normal user (not as administrator). This time, it prompted me to log in. I logged back in with the exact same account, but all my previous chat history inside Cursor is gone, and my layout settings are different.
Even though I’m using the same Windows user account and the same Cursor account, it feels like Cursor is recognizing me as a new user and hasn’t linked back to my previous local data.

Use different windows user to open Cursor
