When i ask the cursor chat to edit some code or apply changes it is unable to do so. I had previously no problems using cursor and with the chat. But suddenly it is not able to edit code.
The funny part is that cursor has no problem changing code from the files directly when i use ctrl + k.
All it does is give me code snippets of what it wants to change it to and then says he has changed it, without doing so. And when i explicitly tell him to change a specific file and tell him he didn’t do it loops endlessly.

So i deleted cursor as a whole and downloaded it again, btw i am running this on ubuntu linux. But it didn’t work, i am still facing the same problems with that it is gaslighting me that it changed the files.
