Cursor Composer Very Slow (Not AI )

Hello, I’m a Cursor Pro plan user, and I’m using a MacBook Air M1 with 16 GB of RAM. As my project has grown, I can no longer use the Cursor composer or chat. When typing text or entering prompts, it’s extremely slow and lags a lot. None of my other applications lag this much; it’s only happening with Cursor. Is there a solution for this?

Hey try this:

Slow speed when typing

Hey, try starting in safe mode with cursor --disable-extensions. If that doesn’t work, try clearing the cache or reinstalling Cursor.
