Cursor couldn't modify the code, and creating files resulted in empty ones

While using Cursor, I noticed some strange behavior. At first, it worked perfectly fine—it could modify code correctly. But after heavy usage, possibly due to overly long conversation context or other reasons, it stopped being able to edit code. It then started trying various approaches—sometimes deleting files, sometimes using commands—but still failed. My workaround was to start a new chat and redo the task, which worked again. What could be the issue?

What operating system?

I also have this problem, and it will easily occur even if the context is not long. An empty file is created, the content fails to be written, and then the cursor automatically ignores and continues the following process. My computer is a Mac m1 chip.

windows 10

Yes, it’s very strange, does the official give a solution?
