I was using Cursor normally and it crashed while it was still responding to me. But I was still charged for that request. Why? My request wasn’t finished, the AI model was still responding to me, and it crashed, and Cursor still charged me for a failed request?

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, I think this might be related to a large amount of your chat history. To resolve the issue, try manually deleting most of the history. You can also try renaming the project or moving it. This will help you quickly clear the history.

Yes I have cleared the chat history multiple times suspecting that might be an issue. With a half dozen in history the wheel on MacOS spins for a looong time but eventually clears.

This can’t be an answer that the user needs to clear the chat history to avoid a crash.

Actually it just crashed as I was typing with one chat and no history.

Can you add a button to delete all chat history? Deleting each one is inconvenient.
