Cursor Crashing, every 30 - 60 Seconds

My Cursor is crashing, every 30 - 60 seconds. Its also, really laggy and slow and laggy. I cannot work at all with it, it’s driving me crazy and using my credits.

My Mac Info:

Specs: M2 Max, 32GB RAM.

I managed to alleviate this by making my chat create a HANDOVER.md document outlining all work done to date and any development quirks that the new AI chat should know. And then moving my project folder to another folder and reopening it in Cursor, resetting my chat history completely. I then rebriefed the AI with my handover document and its been speedy with zero crashes since! Hope that helps

Ahhhh that’s very interesting. This could work…

That might help with my Wordpress ACF issues, it keeps removing stuff and then I have to repeat the instructions and it’s wasting so much time. I briefed the chat not to remove ACF backend fields without permission but it’s still being a little bit stupid… if you catch my meaning

So i did this (thank you) and Cursor went mental.

So deleted the entire app, updated my Mac, cleared all the caches and stared again. It seems much more stable now
