Cursor deleted all files in directory

Cursor deleted the entire directory that I was working in, including my local git history. Entire directory was empty, restoring to a check point only brought back the two files I had edited in that thread. I have no idea how it happened, it was mid chat, no indication of deletion. Everything just gone.

Hey, so you can’t see anything in the chat that would suggest the Agent did anything here?

Do you have auto-run enabled in your settings?

Yes, I couldn’t see anything in chat, it just started failing to edit the files we were working on, I was using auto-run, but we werent deleting any files. I was writing a test.

I’m happy to send my logs if that would be at all helpful. It was also around the same time as yesterday’s incident
