I tell the Cursor agent to push my project on my github after it is completed as I have given in the screenshot. The cursor fails to push and forcefully pushes to the main branch. I check my GitHub repository and see that no files are visible, which is not visible yet. Indirectly, after telling the agent, it provides a command in the proxy, since I told the agent to push only to github, so I did not check the command it provided properly, after some time 2 files are created, for example, in my project there were 2 folders named backend and frontend-app, along with this 2 more folders are created such as backend-55678234267832, 2 folders of this type are created, I think very likely they tried to create a backup folder, I did not see any files by clicking on folder 2. In the meantime, when the agent is generated, I see that my application backend server has crashed. I always click on the previous prompt and get the revert option, where if agent make a mistake or delete something, all the code returns to its previous state. So I click on revert and then another popup shows like compare with github, something like that. After that, I can’t see my previous complete code anymore, even the files I edited that day are back but the previous files folder is not there.
I checked my mac trash and there were no files there either, and I tried using data recover software, but still I didn’t get the code.
I use Mac operating system. And my cursor was at default settings, I had privacy disabled
