Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue on Windows. Usually Windows Defender or another antivirus quarantines Cursor.exe, especially if you’re using the user setup version.
Try this:
Check Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. Cursor may be listed there.
Add the Cursor folder to your antivirus exclusions (usually C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Programs\cursor).
Reinstall, but use the system installer from Download · Cursor. It installs to Program Files instead of AppData, which triggers antivirus less often.
Also check whether any disk cleanup tools are running. Some aggressive cleaners can accidentally remove apps from the user profile.
