Lately cursor is extremly high cpu demanding, even if in idle state.
Is this normal?
I searched the forum, there are other bug reports with extreme cpu usage, but they all where due to extensions.
I dont think this is the same. In the screenshots you can see there are no plugins that demand cpu. I even closed all editors.
Why is cpu load in Windows task manager about 4 times bigger than in cursors process explorer?
RAM seems not to be the problem nevertheless cursor crashes sporadically with error OOM:
but when i checked taskmanager after crash RAM usage looked ok:
So, when inputting text, the cursor freezes ervery few seconds.
Bigger problem is: every other tool call times out.
This makes cursor nearly unusable.
Am i doing something wrong? Do i have too big or too many files in my project? Or what could be the problem? Maybe cursor is trying to prepare updates in the background or something…
