Each user has their own usage, but every user’s usage limit is the same. So if you are all on the base Business plan, you’ll all have 500 fast requests.
This will be because you have used all of your fast requests. Currently, the dashboard at cursor.com only shows the last 30 days of usage, so may still show you at < 500 requests but you may still have hit your limit! We are hoping to change this soon to represent your actual usage.
Your requests will reset at the same date as all of your teammates, which will be the date your team was first set up, each month. So if your team was setup on the 10th Jan, you’d expect to see your allowance reset on the 10th of each month following.
One more question, imagine (well, me), you run out of your 500 requests, but you are willing to put from your pocket, let’s say 20 usd for another 500, is that possible?
I’ve seen there is a way to turn on the payment part, but I don’t want to incur in extra costs to the company, thus I’d like to pay/add it for myself
The best way is to enable “usage-based pricing” which charges you $0.04 for every premium request you use beyond your 500. You can set a limit, to avoid spending too much, but you only pay for what you use, instead of purchasing a batch of 500 at a time, and not using them all before your renewal!
If you have access to the billing section of your account, you should be able to change the default card to your own, so you are billed for your extra usage, but this may be complicated if your company has a monthly plan, as your following renewals would also be attempted against the default card!
Ah, being part of a team means the team’s manager would be charged for any usage you use!
The only way around this would be to have your own separate account, but this would only be useful if you used >500 extra requests, outside of the allowance your company already pays for, otherwise, you’ll be wasting some potion of your $20/m.
Hi @danperks I know it’s a repetitive question regarding the usage limit… but the wording threw me off:
Each user has their own usage, but every user’s usage limit is the same. So if you are all on the base Business plan, you’ll all have 500 fast requests.
you’ll all have 500 fast requests. Does that mean they all TOGETHER have 500, or they EACH have 500 fast reqs?
