Describe the Bug
From the past few days, cursor for me is getting stuck at file reading or file writing. It takes ages and the loading icon keeps spinning and I can’t cancel or refresh it. It is able to read and write the same files but randomly gets stuck on random files. The file sizes are not that large
What have I tried to resolve:
- Tried new Chat
- Tried closing Cursor and Re-Opening
- Stopping and asking it to resume
All of the above mentioned steps temporary resolve the issue and the issue reappears at random time.
Network is Pretty Stable as I am working on a remote VPS.
Model: claude-4-sonnet (Thinking)
Steps to Reproduce
You just give it a command to do a specific task for you and after some modifications it gets stuck
Expected Behavior
It should either raise Error that it is not able to read/write into file or stop icon next to it so I can stop and refresh the specific step
