Tried on several different PCs but still hanging and crashing immediately after upgrade to 0.49.4 today.
Version 0.49.4 (user set up)
VSCode Version: 1.96.2
Windows 11
Chromium: 132.0.6834.210
Nodejs: 20.18.3

Upgraded via bottom left notification. Using Agent mode, Auto
Absolutely prevents using Cursor further until fixed.

Hey, are you opening a specific project, or does this happen regardless of that?
I was mid-project and saw the upgrade notification so upgraded. Straight after that, it began hanging and crashing.
→ Are you using remote SSH?
→ When exactly do you get this error? Every time you do something specific?
→ Does deleting old chats fix it
