Started a brand new chat, the only file is an index.txt file, I’ve noticed that everytime a new update comes out, you change the models that I am using and immediately activate models that I havent used previously. It doesnt matter what model I pick, same error.

It’s possible there were temporary issues with your internet connection or the model was briefly unavailable. Sending the request again can often fix the problem - Impossible to have no connection.
Why does claude keeping having itself activated, claude is useless and has caused so many issues, I dont use it, but you seem to enforce it apon us to use.
The error is permanent, clicking try again doesnt do anything, going back to an earlier version.
Upgrading to the latest version still causes the issue. Reverting to 1.3.9 I get to use Cursor, but the moment I upgrade to the latest, its back to the same issue.

Additionally the team has improved model settings to reduce chance of the issue you listed on top (trouble connecting to the model provider) but may need a bit more time to mitigate all known cases. Please let me know if anything improved.
You do realise this happens regardless of any change you make.
So I’ve noticed that it has started working again, why would this just start happening again if it wasn’t working in the first place.
If I were to strip away everything related to the AI models and I am left with just the core of cursor, the actual application that is talking live to a server, all i would need to do is update the code on the server to reflect the issues the client (me) is having. So more or less patch the server. That would be the only explanation for it to start working again.
ENOTFOUND means that the domain can not be resolved. So this pops up all the time, yet still works regardless of the message and has nothing to do with what is happening on my end because cursor is still pumping out information.
Anyway I am only a small 0.1% of the problem with so many other people having issues. I hope they too get patched and fixed. Especially the student issue, that would drive me insane.
