Current Environment:

  • Cursor Version: 0.48.7 (Universal)

  • VSCode Version: 1.96.2

Detailed Information

When searching for the Kubernetes plugin in Cursor, the following error message appears:


Extension is not compatible with Code 1.96.2. Extension requires: ^1.98.0.

Expected Solution

Need to update Cursor’s built-in VSCode version to 1.98.0 or higher to support the Kubernetes plugin functionality.
