Cursor is still using vs code version 1.93.1

It seems my cursor version is still using vs code v1.93.1, while the majority of extensions use >1.95. Jupyter notebook for example won’t work. How to update to the most recent version of vscode within cursor?

We have an update coming in the next few days that increases the base VSCode version that Cursor is built upon, so this will hopefully resolve your extension compatibility issues!

In meantime, you can usually install older versions of extensions in the dropdown menu to the side on the extension page. I do this with e.g. liveshare extension which also has compatibility issues

you say it?

Anyway to force update? Even the downloads page point to the 0.44.11

Not yet, it will be available to you soon! We gradually roll out the release to ensure we’ve ironed out all the bugs before we send it to everyone.
