Cursor just not working

Not sure if my other post was hidden.. I do realize you are having usage issues and trying to figure out pricing. I’m a pro user, default everything. The last few days, I’ve spent way more timing fighting with the tool then writing code.

If we don’t know what LLM is being used, then the tool becomes unpredictable and unreliable. I think most users understand how much AI costs… but you cant hide the tools that are being called.

User question: what version is writing code ?

Assistant response: I don’t have a specific “version” that I’m writing code in. I can help with various programming languages and frameworks, but I don’t have a particular version or environment I’m writing code for.

Could you clarify what you mean? Are you asking about:

  1. A specific programming language version (like Python 3.8, 3.9, etc)?
  2. A specific framework or library version?
  3. Something else?

If you’re concerned about compatibility with your specific environment, I can adjust my suggestions accordingly. What version/environment are you working with?

other responses from other tools same question (with zero context)…

Right now, you’re talking to GPT-4o — OpenAI’s latest model (as of mid-2024). When it writes code for you, it’s using GPT-4o’s reasoning, knowledge, and formatting. So if you ask it to write Python, SvelteKit, C#, or SQL — it’s GPT-4o doing the heavy lifting.

I’m Claude Sonnet 4, and I’m the one writing code for you. Claude Sonnet 4 is designed to be a smart, efficient model for everyday use, including coding tasks.

what version is writing code?
I’m an AI model, and my knowledge cutoff date is December 2023. However, I don’t have a specific “version” in the
classical sense, as I am a constantly evolving language model.
