Cursor keeps crashin

I can open cursor however as soon as i try to do anything with Claude then cursor crashes

I can use ealier versions ok, but then it is a different version of claude so would rather keep using 0.47 if possible

Macbook M2 Max~
64GB Ram

I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same

Any ideas?

I think this issue is related to a large amount of chat history in your project. You can try renaming your project and opening it. If that helps, then the cause is clear. If your chat history is important to you, you can try exporting it using this extension:

Mine is doing the same thing also and it’s not letting me even clear history it’s just crashing.

To clear history you dont even need to open Cursor as the described process wont use old history. Could you elaborate what you tried and how?
