Cursor limit of 500 is gone

I don’t see the 500 limit of cursor usage that was earlier. I am hearing rumours that the limit has been removed.
Did I automatically get signed into some costly plan? Has the cursor team gone crazy and really offered everyone unlimited usage?

This is too good to be true, someone confirm it before I burn all my usages.

Read like the most recently active couple posts & the most recent forum announcement or the most recent blog post. There is discussion but not a much in the way of clarity as to what it actually means to us. But they sure as ■■■■ deployed it on your account anyways!

Did anybody notice that the tool tip on the pricing page has slightly altered to say there are usage limits with certain models?? :expressionless_face:

I just noticed the same, with no idea what does it really mean. Guessing it has something to do with adding Ultra subscription, but some clarity would be very much appreciated.

…this is probably the discussion to follow: I don't like the new pro plan - #8 by kongkongstar

my experience was and still is i get rate limited at confusing and contextually important times.

my usage based billing was set to on (i didn’t know if this was me and requires manual trigger - my cursor rules disappeared after the last update so I just view nothing to be safe or real in a Cursor context until they put words to it. even after all that, figuring it out is a literal Shakespearean nightmare and there’s no reason for this to be the case.

Nice wording for The Cursor Maze.

forgive me if I’m over editorializing, but at the end of the day 6 months in I really struggle to frame this in my mind. Cursor users just want human things. I feel the AI uninterpretability is being abused. This tech is not new and actually well understood - we design it to be uninterpretable, not random. There are things I cannot ignore that really upset me about the implementation of this program and what it implies for similar service based stewards presenting as a bundled product. I think of Windows and Netscape. Just because most people find it more confusing now, doesn’t mean it is. AI is not the issue here and I think we all find it blatantly clear. I find it disappointing a company worth 10 billion isn’t spending less than I make in a year considering the unique and powerful narrative setting and industry carving position they are in. I’m left speechless at times, because when you look at the tensors, you use this stuff locally you go:

hey wait a minute. wtf?
