With an Ultra plan is there any way to use only Cursor models with auto? I’m really just wanting to have it switch from Grok for thinking and Composer for work.
I’m also working on getting Cursor in my state agency. We are restricted from using Chinese models by decree. Will auto use those on a team plan?

On an individual plan (including Ultra) there isn’t a way to control which models Auto picks — the routing is managed by Cursor. If you have strong preferences about which model handles which task (e.g. Grok for thinking, Composer for the work), the best approach is to select those named models directly rather than using Auto.
For your agency: on Enterprise, admins can control which models are allowed for the org, including the models Auto routes to, so any restricted models can be blocked and Auto will respect that:. Enterprise also gets additional Auto options via Cursor Router, including optimizing for Balance or Intelligence.
