- Which mode are you using (Ask/Agent/Plan)?
- When does the switch happen, on Cursor launch, during normal use, or when switching modes?
- Which Cursor version are you on? (Help > About)

In that case, the model resets to Composer 1 when switching between Ask and Agent.
