Hi, Some guy created a post like my post shadow banning or something? Other guys can’t see my post on Discussions category either.

I can’t find my own post in search. I wasn’t critical but I am confused. lol.

Hey all, we have some automatic moderation which hides certain posts that are flagged as billing queries or breaking the rules. This one was unfortunately caught in that moderation, but I’ve resolved this now - apologies!

Yep, welcome to the club. Shadow banning pricing related posts is quite normal here, saw it happening a lot with o4-mini price hike and now again. Though I was really surprised that they shadow banned my post about shadow banning, after removing the shadow ban from my original thread. 
I think these are not really automatic (in my case I saw a bot posting), or possibly done by LLM instructed as something stupid like “anything negative shadow ban”.

Hey, as mentioned, we use some AI moderation systems to help us ensure the forum is a positive and constructive place. Posts that are inflammatory or include disinformation are automatically hidden until an admin confirms the contents abide by the forum rules.
This not only happens on original posts, but on any follow-up comments too, meaning a post may be re-hidden if the comments are not constructive or are off topic.
This system should not effect your ability to get support here, as long as rules are abided by and interaction on the forum remains positive and constructive.

Forcing the forum to be positive feels like censorship. I think we need a third party forum so we can discuss Cursor freely.
If you build a good product the conversation will be positive. If you make users unhappy they should be able to voice that.
