Since the topic about opt-out option got hidden from public eye, I allowed myself to open another one, because there are people interested in this.

The option to Opt Out of the new pricing plan was stated to only be available for a limited time. While this was always going to happen, we didn’t properly communicate to our moderators / ambassadors when this was occurring, so I apologise if you were receiving mixed signals from the team!

May I ask, where and when exactly was this “stated”? I cannot find it in official communication or docs.

Your new topic has also disappeared from the forum. All Opt-Out topics seem to be shadow banned here.

How is this shadow-banning being done? Do moderators add a hidden flag without notifying the OP that his post has been blacklisted?

The consistent lack of transparency and authoritarian behavior makes this company more suitable for communist China, than for a competitive market. Why should we still trust this company with our data?

LOL so they consolidated pricing topics to one thread, asked for feedback, and then shadow banned it

Correction: they hide it from the topics but pinned it. And you don’t see it if you click on topics, only if you go to the forum root

If you have already opted out during the window where this was possible, you will remain opted out for the near future. For yearly users, the pricing structure will remain until your yearly plan renews. For monthly users, the old pricing will remain in place for some time but will be sunset at some point to bring everyone in line with the new plan.

As mentioned in the megathread, anyone who is unhappy can send us an email to [email protected] and the team will be happy to help you out!
