I’ve been running into a persistent issue with the Team Spend Limit in Cursor and wanted to check if others are experiencing the same thing.
I’ve set a fixed spend limit, expecting it to strictly cap usage. However, I’ve noticed that roughly every hour, the limit automatically increases on its own, as if it’s switching back to a dynamic mode. This makes it impossible to actually enforce a hard cap on team spending.
What I expected:
Fixed limit should remain constant
Spending should stop once the limit is reached
What’s happening instead:
Limit gradually increases over time (about every hour)
It behaves like a dynamic/adaptive limit even though it’s set to fixed
This defeats the purpose of having cost control
Has anyone else encountered this?
Is this a bug, or is there some hidden setting or behavior I might be missing?
Would really appreciate any insights or workarounds. Thanks!
