Hey everyone! v1.3 is now starting to roll out for pre-release users! :tada: Please keep in mind this is an early version—some features may change or be removed before the final release, and you may encounter more bugs or instability than usual. Only opt in if you’re comfortable with that risk. If you’d like to try it out, open the Beta tab in the app and set your Update Access to Early Access. To keep things tidy, feel free to use this thread to share your feedback, report bugs, or discuss anything you notice in this version. We’ll share a full changelog once the update is available to everyone. Thanks for testing!

last night and earlier this morning sonnet 4 and sonnet opus performance was extremely degraded (per Anthropic)

Got it, yeah it actually is multiple files that got messed up… Do you know anything about cursor repeating commands, it seems to be getting stuck in infinite loops, mostly when updating to do lists and running terminal commands.

Yes there were a few reports about this, not just on 1.3 but also 1.2.4, I passed through several Request IDs to the team and they were mostly issues with Sonnet and Gemini but not Cursor related. Could you post a full separate Bug Report with more info and a Request ID with privacy disabled so we can look into the details? Cursor – Getting a Request ID

The main issue I’m seeing is that the diff tool keeps braking. I see the ‘review’ icon in middle of editor appear, then flashes away - not letting me approve or deny the change. Seems like either a new chat or restart solves the issue. Here is a request ID: af51aa50-cda9-491c-aef1-cbb7ebc61edc Edit: on the same request above, it seems to have ‘come back’ - so on a couple files it was lost but visible on others…

It’s a separate, automaticly generated website, containing official download links, for convenience. I built downloadcursor.app as a response to the overly ad-filled cursor.uuid.site, which isn’t always up to date either. It’s less essential now with the new early update release schedule, but during the 0.4 era, a few updates were botched, so we needed a way to be notifed of new pre-release updates, and a simple way to rollback to previous versions.

Hi all, if you were affected by the looping issue, we deployed a fix. [image] Restarting/repeating Agent conversations Bug Reports We’ve deployed a fix that stops the looping behavior here. If you see any more requests with this please send a request ID and I can take a look.

For the looping issue: Just wondering. With something so obvious. How could a multi-billion dollar company not have known about this problem, which in my case left Cursor unusable.

Hey, version 1.3 is a prerelease. It still contains some bugs. The fact that you received this update despite having early access turned off is our mistake and we apologize for that. However, you can download the previous stable version here: [image] Downloads | Cursor - The AI Code Editor Download Cursor for Windows, macOS, and Linux. [image] deanrie: 1.3 is a prerelease Agree it’s a pre-release, but I noticed this problem in the first ten minutes,so I’ll stick with my comment as this was a complete show stopper and rendered Cursor unusable for me. A multi-billion dollar company such as Cursor needs to do more testing, your pre-release customers are not your testing team.
